Dark chestnut filly,
14.3+ hh, foaled March
2005 (Roadshow Doctor
Pop x Blythewood Royal Isabella). Kizzy
is a charming mare, with a beautiful face and wonderful substance, who
adores people and craves attention. She is started in training and comes
running to the pasture gate or nickers from her stall asking for her turn
to be groomed, loved, and worked. She is learning poise, obedience,
balance, and relaxation under saddle, learning how to soften to the bit, bend throughout her body, and step
under herself—she will be a lovely, supple horse to ride. Kizzy
can go in many directions—sport, show, or pleasure. With her
foundation bloodlines, she would also make a wonderful broodmare in the future. She’s too green to
recommend for a beginner just yet,
but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for a beginner when she has a
little more time under saddle. She is sure to become a trustworthy companion with patient training and a
little more experience. Her Blythewood half-siblings, also sired by Roadshow Dr. Pop, are both adored by their amateur owners; one is training
for her debut in dressage, the other is becoming a do-everything gelding
for his first-time horse owners. Kizzy
is full of personality and affection, waiting for her own person or family
to love her and develop her talents. Asking $6500.CLICK HERE to read a testimonial about Kizzy |

Blythewood Hawk Mountain |
|
2004
bay gelding. (Burnt Mtn Ebony Hawk x Blythewood Royal
Isabella).
2004
bay gelding, 15.1+ hands. Burnt Mtn Ebony Hawk x Blythewood Royal Isabella.
Full brother to Blythewood Casino Royale. This spectacular young fellow
is loaded with talent! Hawk's sire, a son of Courage of Equinox, is known
for producing athletic movers with great brains, kind disposition,
naturally high tail sets, and lovely square trots.
Hawkie would make a great pleasure horse, and is priced accordingly. He is
sound and sane, but he cannot be a sport performance horse because of OCD
in his front fetlocks. If you want a horse to love and trail ride, he will
be the best horse you have ever owned. He's bright and very nice to work around. Hawk
has had several months of training under saddle and was driven lightly. He
was exceedingly easy and delightful to drive, but we concentrated on
saddle work at the trainers. Call or
email for price. |

| SC Island Filigree |
1999
bay mare (SC Island Gold Fire x Serena Rosebud). "Aggie"
is a rare and valuable source of Jubilee King blood on both sides of the pedigree,
and you'll find many other great horses in her ancestry, including Sentola,
Torchfire, Senator Graham, Jubilee Joy, Red Vermont, Flyhawk, and Red Correll,
in addition to some excellent government horses. Aggie is a proven broodmare and
is broke to ride. Aggie has no bad habits, but she probably
would not be best suited for a real beginner. She would make a very nice horse
for an intermediate rider. She's been out on our roads and has had many miles
being ridden in our fields. Her maternal half-brother Hawk's Nest Tradition excelled
at competitive trail, as did her dam. Aggie has ground-covering gaits and a beautiful road horse
trot. She is only 14.2, similar to her dam, who also was a successful
competitive trail mount for many years, and carried a "normal-sized"
rider for miles and miles. Asking $4000.

| Blythewood Baron Oakes |
Chestnut
gelding born May 2006 (Burnt Mtn Ebony Hawk x Burnt
Mtn Erin R). "Oakie" is approximately 3/4 sibling to our
Blythewood Casino Royale "Casey" (see below) and Hawk. If you saw this guy, you would have to say "Wow!"
Lovely length of neck, conformation to die for, and as handsome as they come. Line-bred to the very
talented, never-say-die Equinox Royalty of old Lippitt breeding, crossed on Courage of Equinox and
government lines, this guy has it all. Oakie has a wonderful
temperament; he's very nice to work around. Very trustworthy and mellow, he'll
make a nice horse for a young person to grow with or take him off to compete in
a sport horse discipline. We expect him to mature
around 14.3. Asking $4000.

| Blythewood Bolero |
Black
(coat color tested: E/e a/a) sabino (obvious roaning areas
and typical stockings, but not color tested for sabino) gelding born April 2007 (Raynyday Squire
Jack x Culpeper Sonata). "Bo" is going to turn heads wherever he
goes and in whatever discipline he is taken. He's a very
pretty
mover...no, he's actually a superb mover, and
this boy is getting prettier by the day. Lots of talent,
this colt has a lot of potential. He has some great breeding behind him and he's
a sweetheart to work around. |

| Blythewood Tommy Hawk |
Bay
gelding, no white, gelding born March 2007 (Burnt Mtn Ebony
Hawk x Blythewood Royal Isabella). Tommy is the third colt we
have had from what we consider a golden cross. They have all been tall
(15.1-15.2) and Tommy appears to be following the pattern set by his 2 older
brothers. He's very correct and nicely put together. Talented
mover with great drive from behind and a good balanced motion. These guys live life to the
fullest and enjoy working and will do anything for you. His former siblings have been easy to
train and fun to be around. Tommy is a really pleasant guy, and could do most
any job you point him at. |

| Blythewood Abby Jaquith |
Liver
chestnut filly born April 2007 (Raynyday Squire Jack x
Callie-Ann).
"Jackie" is going to be a very tall, powerful mare.
She was a very large filly at birth and we think she will make an outstanding
sport horse. Stands 14.1 at one year of age. Enough substance to give her great strength, balanced with
refinement and beauty. Very friendly and sweet filly.
Her gaits are exceptionally smooth and she has great potential for collection. |
|
|
| Blythewood Molly Bridget |
Chestnut
filly born April 2007 (Raynyday Squire Jack x
Blythewood Polly Vermont). "Bridget" is a darling!
She has a flaxen mane and tail to complement the
beautiful head and perfect body she possesses. I don't know
what else to say about her because she definitely is a sweetheart
and a beauty to behold. You can get
her to act like her mom and spike her tail once in awhile, but mostly she wants
to know that you think she is special. She IS special! As with all the other
offspring from "Joey", Bridget has exceptional gaits for showing or sport disciplines.
She has an elegant floating trot and a slow, soft canter.

Congratulations to Suzie Stewart of Scottsdale, Arizona, who has purchased Candy as a future mount for Suzie's lucky granddaughter. Candy (now known as "Dandi") obviously approves of her new home and owners. A kind and gentle young mare, she exemplifies the kindness of the Morgan breed.
