Blythewood Tommy Hawk

Bay
gelding, 15+ hands, no white, born March 2007 (Burnt Mtn Ebony
Hawk x Blythewood Royal Isabella).
Tommy is the third offspring we have
had from what we consider a golden cross. He's very correct and nicely put
together. Talented mover with great drive from behind and good balanced motion.
Tommy is a really pleasant guy. Currently showing hunter pleasure, but has
potential for western pleasure or dressage. Also very happy and
trustworthy out on the trails. In training with Kathy Peeples at Waterford Farm.
First show July 2012: Limit Hunter Pleasure at Penn-Ohio. Won the class out of
six and was third in Open Championship.

Bay mare foaled 1999 (SC Island Goldfire x Serena
Rosebud). Aggie is in the best home she could
ask for. Debra Davis fell in love with her long distance
and when she came to see her, it was obvious they were
made for each other. Debra and Aggie are learning
dressage together and enjoying the trails. Debra
promised to send some photos of her and Aggie soon. |

Tennessee is Bridget, who now lives with her new owner Tess Lloyd. Wait a

Blythewood Baron Oakes
 Chestnut
gelding born May 2006 (Burnt Mtn Ebony Hawk x
Burnt Mtn Erin R). "Oakie" is approximately 3/4
sibling to our Blythewood Casino Royale "Casey" (see
below), Hawk Mountain, and Tommy Hawk. If you saw this
guy, you would have to say "Wow!" Lovely length of neck,
conformation to die for, and as handsome as they come.
Line-bred to the very talented, never-say-die Equinox
Royalty of old Lippitt breeding, crossed on Courage of
Equinox and government lines, this guy has it all.
Oakie has a wonderful temperament; he's simply a love to
work around. Oakie is now in a wonderful home
with the Krystek family in Ringoes, NJ

Blythewood
Rare Candor
2005 dark chestnut filly.
(Raynyday
Grand Finale x Callie-Ann). "A kind and gentle young mare,
she exemplifies the kindness of the Morgan breed.
The young girl who was riding her has a second horse and

ridden and an accomplished jumper. |

Blythewood Casino Royale
2002
liver chestnut gelding. (Burnt Mtn Ebony Hawk x Blythewood Royal
Isabella). Casey's lucky owners are Bonnie & Doug Hudson in Anthony, Florida.
Casey started his career in combined driving events in 2007 with
Bonnie at the reins and Doug as navigator.
Bonnie and Casey
started 2012 on the highest possible note. They won for the 3rd time the
Preliminary Division Best Dressage Championship (over 29 entries in Preliminary
classes) at the Sunshine State CDE at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala. And
then added to that by winning the Preliminary Single Horse Class of 13
competitors. Next up, the Little Everglades CDE (Dade City, FL), was not as
exceptional. After placing 2nd in Dressage and a good marathon the cones
competition on Sunday was our undoing (hey, it happens). At the Live Oak CDE
(Ocala, FL) we experienced another fine competition. Starting with a 3rd in
Dressage we then had the best Marathon ever with Casey as he cantered in and out
of the hazards and brought us to the Cones in a solid 4th place (class of 10
competitors). On Sunday Bonnie and Casey were back in form with a double clean
round earning an overall event 4th place in the Single Horse Class.
During the 2011 season "The Team" garnered the
Best Overall Preliminary Dressage award at the Sunshine State CDE (best of 19
competitors in the Preliminary Division). At the Little Everglades CDE their performance
was not as hoped for and they ended up 8th out of 12 in the Prelim Single Horse
Class. However the bright spot was an improved marathon. Live Oak was a great
event; Bonnie & Casey earned the Dressage Champion Award over the 21 competitors
in the Preliminary Division. This was followed with another improved Marathon
and strong Cones performance for a 4th place finish in the Preliminary Single
Horse Class. We finished the year with a fair performance and 6th place at the
Katydid CDE in November.
